This program is based on the Project Management Institute’s Sixth Edition Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge. PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP) ® credential is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers. Globally recognized and demanded, the PMP® demonstrates that you have the experience, education and competency to lead and direct projects.

The PMP® Exam Prep Course is comprehensive and focused on a single goal: Equip students with the knowledge and techniques they need to pass PMI’s Project Management Professional certification exam. With live instructions, materials and post-class support, you’ll have everything required for success.

This course is an intensive 4-day PMI Project Management Professional Certification Prep course designed to prepare one for the Project Management Institute’s PMP Certification exam. This course is a good choice for project managers wishing to complete a certification review course in a concentrated time period. This course meets PMI’s 35 educational hour requirement for PMP certification and covers knowledge tested as well as provides certification exam testing tips and techniques to help you achieve a passing certification score.

Course is based on the Project Management Institute’s Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge and covers all of the knowledge areas of project management.

Course materials are cross-referenced to the PMBOK® Guide for easier studying. Course participants will have access to an online template library to better understand the various outputs of the project management process elements.

The course:

  • Participants receive PMI's PMBOK Guide and The PMP Exam How to Pass on Your First Try​ Manuals
  • Contains a process flow diagram of the major project management element interactions
  • Contains the four-pages of PMP formulas, their purposes and how to interpret the results
  • Provides access to a PMP Application spreadsheet to assist with the complicated PMP Application information requirements
  • Includes a proven approach to a post-PMP course study regiment
  • Discusses exam methodology to maximize your final score. Provides three flash card files containing over 500 flash cards covering acronyms, glossary definitions, process element definitions, knowledge areas and process groups.
  • Provides access to PMP sample exams containing over 1,000 questions to prepare the course participants for the PMP exam
  • Is taught by a veteran PMP Exam Prep Instructor

2018 Tuition & Fees​

Early Bird Registration Fee (register by July 6, 2018): $1,875.00

PMI Chapter Member Rate: $1,900.00​

Standard fee (register by August 17, 2018): $1,950.00​

The registration fee covers course materials, books, instruction, completion certificates, lunch, and refreshment breaks. It does not cover hotel, evening meals, and other travel expenses.
Cancellation policy

Participants may cancel their registration and receive a refund of their tuition if notification is submitted 15 business days prior to the date of the event. However, all cancellations will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. In addition to the $50 cancellation fee if any program assessments, tests, or reports are completed prior to the cancellation date, fees for these tools will be charged to the participant.
No refunds will be issued if cancellation is received 14 business days or less prior to the event. To cancel, contact LSU Executive Education at 225-578-9132 or

Registration Transfers

Participants or organizations are allowed to transfer a paid registration one time into a future program that is scheduled within one calendar year of the transfer date. Requests for additional transfers are not permitted. The above cancellation policy does not apply to transfer registrations. If you must cancel a transferred registration you will forfeit all registration, tuition, and fees.

LSU Executive Education reserves the right to cancel a program for any reason. If such a cancellation occurs there will not be a penalty to the participant.

Doug B. Boebinger is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Registered Education Provider (REP). He is the founder and president of Integrated Process Developers in Plymouth, MI. Boebinger has more than 17 years of experience as a trainer and consultant specializing in the area of project management. With more than 24 years of experience as a project manager with profit/loss responsibilities, Boebinger was the lead project management/process development consultant to Ford Motor Company. Through his practice, he has worked with countless organizations to improve their project management abilities including Lear, Behr, DaimlerChrysler, and General Motors. Boebinger holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Purdue University in Construction Engineering and Management.

Important Notes about the PMP Exam & Application
The PMP Exam Application can be a complex undertaking. LSU's prep course offers a free PMP Application Spreadsheet to help with the process. Please go to the Project Management Institute(PMI) website at to learn about the specific PMP Exam registration requirements and to download the PMP Credential Handbook.

PMI requires that in order for any candidate to apply for any PMI Credential all of the courseware needed for contact hours necessary to fulfill the Project Management Education requirements must be completed at the time of application.  One should not submit a PMI Credential Application before having successfully completed the course(s) used for the necessary contact hours needed to sit for the PMI Credential Examinations.​

If it is discovered upon application audit, that an applicant candidate has not successfully completed the project management course before the date the application was submitted, then the application would be failed due to misrepresentation and applicant will not be able to sit for any PMI Credential Examination, including any existing examinations as well as any examinations PMI may offer in the future.​
