Invest in Diversity & Inclusion

Diversity & Inclusion greatly appreciates any and all donations to the Diversity and Inclusion Support Fund. Your gifts enhance the collegiate experience for participating students and prepare them for the transition from college to career.
In the past, this fund has enabled Diversity and Inclusion to host workshops with the purpose of building resumes, developing interview skills, improving social media presence, and establishing credit. The office has also hosted events for business students like the annual Dress for Success Fashion Show, the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Ice Cream Social, and speaker series luncheons for organizations and corporate representatives to share their professional advice with students. Faculty members were able to increase recruiting efforts by visiting high schools and being active at LSU recruiting events such as SPRINGFEST Recruitment Weekend. Your gifts have also allowed associated programs to send students and faculty to external conferences and competitions such as the PhD Project Conference, National Diversity Case Competition, Texas Diversity & Leadership Conference, Louisiana Women in Leadership Symposium, SEC Business School Chief Diversity Officers Conference, the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Convention, and the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA) Convention. We would like to offer these opportunities in the future more frequently, allowing more students these experiences.

Diversity and Inclusion has establishd the Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship, which would assist academically eligible students with tuition costs at the college or for studying abroad, allowing them to focus more on academics and leadership activities.
