Behind every endowed chair or professorship is a unique individual, family, or corporation with a desire to make a difference and a vision to reach into the future.
A university is defined by the quality of its faculty, and no asset is more critical to its students. Private support for faculty, especially in the form of endowments for chairs and professorships, is vital to LSU. Chairs and professorships are highly valuable means of retaining some of the very best faculty and for recruiting new talent to the E. J. Ourso College of Business. Endowed faculty support will live in perpetuity.
