The 2010 Hall of Distinction inductees are Thomas J. Adamek, Donald K. Gauci, David L. Laxton III, Jerry E. Shea Jr., and Christel C. Slaughter.
Established in 1996, the Hall of Distinction recognizes individuals who make significant contributions to business, academia, or government as well as to their community. It is not necessary for a nominee to be a LSU alumnus, however nominees are expected to have some connection with LSU.
